Periwinkle Out of My Flower Press

Periwinkle known as La Sociere in French and Immortale in Italy is known in folk wisdom to promote happiness, gracing the pages of my flower press today. This is the very first flower I made as a flower essence in 1983. It was such a pleasure to not even know the flower's name yet decode its purpose through close observation. Flower essences are subtle emotional remedies that were first created by Dr. Bach after WWI. Poetry spontaneously arose while I was sitting with this early spring flower. Holy Spirit Sacred Flower, Holy Spirit Sacred Power. There are pathways to Heaven from here on Earth. Sacred Flower shows me your worth. I began to sing this poem as a chant, all of a sudden I found myself traveling on a highway of light to the stars in Heaven! I sang as I traveled up and down this highway of light from Earth to Heaven and Heaven to Earth. Back down on the Earth, I closely observed how the flower grew close to the ground and I thought, Oh this flower essence must have a grounding effect! Then I took my loop and look closely into the five pointed star in the flower's center and I thought, "Of Leonardo da Vinci's painting of the man in the five pointed star called L'uomo vitruviano." My next thought was, This must have to do with the five elements, the five senses that make up our physical body. Yet the flower grows as groups of flowers hug close to the ground. My conclusion was this flower essence brings to Earth codes from Heaven. This would be done in the form of a group of people, because the periwinkle roots system is interconnected. The flower does not grow singular. The flower itself is blue/violet. Blue is the color of sky which represents the spirit world, while violet is the color of transformation. The grounded quality of this plant helps a group to integrate Spiritual Principles here on Earth through a group of like minded people. Viola!
