Praying Dragon

This standing dragon was created from elk-horn moss found on the forest floor after an autumn storm. Up close, its texture resembles dragon scales. Pressed and shaped, he emerged in full form: standing in prayer, breath made of tiny filaments, a treasure sack on his back, big feet covered in Columbine petals, and a kneeling posture before a heart-shaped wild rose. The rose teaches us to love beyond the thorns. Not every story ends in "happily ever after"—but we can always choose to "love ever after." This is the Dragon’s Prayer. —Raylenea
