Artemis and Notre Dame du Bois

These rosaries I just finished are Artemis/ Notre Dame du Bois, “ Our Lady of the Woods” collection. The centerpiece of the main rosary is like a finger altar to send your forest prayers to the trees. When the church came into play in European history the Goddess Artemis went underground yet she morphed into the Black Virgin Notre Dame du Bois. Such as Notre Dame de Sus Terre her sacred tree was the yew in Chartres. Just as many statues of Artemis were hidden in trees when the patriarch came into power. The Black Virgins also were found in trees in many parts of Europe specifically France and Italy. When wars came, the French Revolution or the reformation the Black Virgins would be hidden in hollow trees. King Rene d’ Anjou recalls many BV were found in bushes. The Black Virgin of Walcott , Belgium was found in a Hawthorn bush. Le Buret icon was white stone Madonna found on a log in France. Capelou Dordogne found by herds men in a bush. This is how the Goddess not only survived but was hidden in plan site. Our Lady of the Woods voice is heard in the wind whispering through the trees. Her True Presence is in the hollow tree in the Holy Hollow of one’s Inner Heart. This is where the duality of patriarch and and the matriarch disappear. All that is left is the Oneness within the inner heart . It is there we can hear the Song of the Woods and the find the forgiveness that is needed to move forward.******** Notre Dame du Bois/Artemis Prayer ****** Hail Mother of the living green the spirit resides within thee. Oh Holy Mother, Mother of the trees we thank you for the very breath of life. May your Earth Children's ears be opened to hear your voice. May your Beauty be restored. Tree-men****** Notre Dame du Bois/Artemis Rosary Begin with the prayer of Notre Dame du Bois/Artemis, then on each bead as you go around your rosary sing or say "Ave Marie Artemis". It is in this way you will connect to the ancient memories of the ancestors who cared for the land.
